“Don’t japa without a skill. I repeat, don’t japa without a skill.
I have travelled abroad twice and skills were what saved me when push came to shove.
My first japa was to the UK as an international student in 2010. My most prominent skill at the time was playing the piano.
I started teaching children piano for £10 pounds an hour and soon I was looking for time.
On my return to Nigeria, I had learned how to code. I launched a business teaching kids how to code, 9jacodekids Academy.
Now I have japa to Canada, skills are coming through again.
I just thought I should shout it in someone’s ears
If you’ve got kids aged 6 to 16, the long/summer vacation is coming, they can learn how to code online with 9jacodekids Academy. This is a powerful skill that will open doors for them anywhere in the world. “
