Nollywood actress Ruby Ojiakor and her husband, actor Moc Madu, recently shared in a video how their relationship started while working together on a film set in Anambra State.
Ruby recounted that during the production, where they played lovers on screen but didn’t end up married in the story, Madu often asked her for favours. She reflected on those moments as the beginning of something deeper between them.
Moc Madu, reflecting on that time, said he returned to Lagos after the movie shoot, and they stayed in touch. However, he couldn’t ignore the strong feeling in his heart that Ruby was meant to be his wife. That persistent belief led him to take their bond more seriously and move the relationship forward.
Speaking about her husband, Ruby said he might be playful but isn’t a womaniser—something very important to her. In her words:
“My husband is not a womaniser, because me I don’t like cheating men, I can’t stand it. My husband is Godfearing.”
Sharing the video, Ruby added a message to her fans:
“How we met, pls listen and be happy. Love is a beautiful thing. Give love a chance and thank me later.”
