I Was The First Yahoo Boy In Nigeria, I Have Scammed Banks Before – Charly Boy Opens Up

Charles Oputa aka Charly Boy, a Nigerian veteran performer and media figure, has disclosed some disturbing information about his history.

He claimed to have been a fraudster and described how he used to defraud banks long before cyberfraud, sometimes known as 419 or ‘Yahoo Yahoo’, became popular in Nigeria.

Charly Boy made the confession during the latest episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, co-hosted OAP Nedu, Husband Material, Ezinne and Toun. The singer said;

“I was scamming banks. Even before una begin hear of 419, I don do small.”

Nedu probed; “You used to scam banks and they paid?”

Charly Boy replied, “Yes, of course.”

He then made a brief declaration of his admiration for the gay community and disclosed that he became a bad boy from birth and had a child at the age of sixteen. His first child is now 53 years old.

In a separate revelation, Charly Boy claimed that as a young child, his father hurt him emotionally through religion.

He also narrated how he took a really attractive woman home, and when she excused herself to use the bathroom, she returned as a full grown man.
