The journey didn’t start today!
Listen guys, if there’s anything you should cherish, it’s your confidence.
“Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward.” – Hebrews 10:35.
Reminiscing on my childhood, I remembered how nobody wanted to associate with me in school because poverty was my second name.
I was poor, couldn’t afford good education. I learnt how to spell the word, ‘The’ in JSS1.
While in the university, my mates said I wouldn’t amount to anything in life, because I was spending most of my time and money on trainings, seminars and books.
I was also holding conferences and trainings as a student to impact people.
But, I told them confidently that I was 10 years ahead of them.
I didn’t desist from investing and training myself. I ignored the naysayers and faced my business, because I knew where I was going to.
Today, my personal investments has paid off. Just few weeks ago, I got accepted into the Forbes Business Councils as a business coach. This is an invitation-only platform that recognises great people doing exploits in their field.
“If you let other people’s opinion throw shade on your vision, your confidence, or your action taking; then their opinion will become a self-fulfilling prophecy.” – John A. Passaro.
Guide your confidence, for there will surely be a reward for it. Believe in your visions and chase them unapologetically.
