LOOKING BACK…
Today I am reminded to be and stay THANKFUL.
I had the Intuition that there must be something great about my future, but I didn’t know God would take this route.
10years ago, I travelled to Enugu to take the entrance exams into School of Nursing ESUTH, without knowing how my education would be funded.
Someone sent the first picture here to me this morning and I felt a rush of emotions…
Dear God, see what you have done.
My mum has always had this rugged faith that her children would go to school, become graduates and live/lead better lives. From a failed sewing business (the most creative human I know), to selling garri, to selling akara and then okrika…
…she kept her faith alive, catering for her children herself.
I remember leaving Warri City with hot tears rolling down my cheeks and a song(word) in my heart -“God is able to do, just what he says he’d do”. It was ministered by the church choir the last Sunday before I left for school.
This song became my encouragement throughout Nursing School.
This is 10 years later and I’m in a “see what the Lord has done mood right now”.
When God shows himself through our lives/processes, what he is actually saying is “I LOVE YOU, I AM ABLE, I WANT YOU TO TRUST ME ‘.
I am grateful to the channels through which God has shown me mercy. I ama product of his grace. My loving mother, my school principal, my pastors my friends. I an GRATEFUL.
Indeed, we should look back and be grateful.
I and some of my colleagues are commiting to raise a scholarship fund for Nursing students, pls join us. I know how easy Nursing School would have been if I had one.
May our lives continue to be channels of God’s grace.
Blessings.
Thanks for checking on me, I’ve been adjusting to the new environment and role.🎉🎉🙌🏽
