As she marks 3 years on the job, Kaisara shares how the job has brought out the best in her.
Sharing on LinkedIn, she wrote:
I’ve recently hit my 3 year mark in audit and honestly, I couldn’t be more proud of my self. As a fresh graduate, EY gave me the opportunity to start my career as an auditor in assurance.
This was so big for me as I was hopeless about finding job, given that I had spent a number of months applying without even getting a call for an interview. EY came to the rescue and the rest is history!
Reflecting on the time I’ve spent here, I’ve seen not only growth career wise, but also in my character. As a shy and introverted person, I now find myself coming out of my shell and easily interacting with people because my line of work allows me to work with different teams and clients on a day to day. My interpersonal skills have significantly developed overtime and for me, that is a dream come true.
In closing, the journey of being an auditor isn’t always the easiest, but the skills and the people you’ll meet along the way will make it all worth it. I am truly grateful to EY for seeing the potential in me 3 years ago because the work ethic and character growth I’ve experienced is something I’ll have for the rest of my life and hope to also share with others.
