I started doing fabrication works right from childhood because that’s the work of my father (my mentor ).
What’s is the name of the cooker you designed?
I didn’t give it a name because my business wasn’t registered then.
What motivated you to start building up this cooker?
I felt that I can reduce the importation rate in our country by producing something I know that almost every home needs and with a very good standard.
Did you attend any form of training?
I’ve not attended any other special training apart from the one I got from my father though I’m willing to get more training on it so that I can also teach other youths under me perfectly.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
I just woke up one day with a thought of making a gas cooker, at first it seems difficult due to finance and some equipments. But later I just made them with the little I could afford.
You were featured on blogs for innovations recently and even got support from the government, how does this make you feel?
It encouraged me to do more and also made me know that the government and the masses likes and encourages good things.
What are your plans for the next 5 years?
In five years time with necessary supports financial support, I will expand my productivity in a way that it will be sufficient for Nigerians, and also available for exports. I have some youths that I’m teaching the work also, so I will also accommodate and teach more youths to be productive and useful citizens.
